Keyboard shortcuts are really helpful for everyone. You can save a lot of time with the help of keyboard shortcuts. There are so many keyboard shortcuts, out of which, some of the important and frequently used keyboard shortcuts are explained below:

Ctrl + C or Ctrl + Insert – These keywords (Ctrl + C and Ctrl + Insert ) are essential to copy the selected text word sentence paragraph or selected item.

Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert – These keys (Ctrl + V and Shift + Insert) are used to paste any text word sentence paragraph or object.

Ctrl + Z and Ctrl + Y – These keys are essential to undo your previous work.For example, if you cut text, pressing this will undo it. This can also often be pressed various times to undo various changes. Pressing Ctrl + Y would redo the undo.

Ctrl + F -Pressing Ctrl + F open the Find in any program. This includes your Internet browser to search text on the latest page.

Alt + Tab or Ctrl + Tab – Quickly switch between open programs moving forward.Tip: Press Ctrl + Tab to switch between tabs in a program.Tip: Adding the Shift key to Alt + Tab or Ctrl + Tab will move backwards. For example, if you are pressing Alt + Tab and pass the program you wish to switch to, press Alt + Shift + Tab to move backwards to that program.

Ctrl + Back space and Ctrl + Left or Right arrow – This keyword (Ctrl + Backspace) will help you to delete a full word at a time instead of a single character. Hold down the Ctrl key while pressing the left or right arrow key will help you in moving the cursor for one word at a time instead of one character.If you wanted to highlight one word at a time you can hold down Ctrl + Shift and then press the left or right arrowkey to move one word at a time in that direction while highlighting each word.

Ctrl + S – When working on a document or another file in almost every program pressing(Ctrl+ S) help you to saves that file.

Ctrl + Home or Ctrl + End – Ctrl + Home will move the cursor to the beginning of the document and Ctrl + End will help you to move the cursor to the end of a document.

Ctrl + P – This key (Ctrl + P) help you to open a print preview of the current page or document being viewed. For example, press Ctrl + P now to view a print preview of this page.

Page Up, Space bar, and Page Down – Using these keys (either the page up or page down key)will help you to move that page one page at a time in that direction.

Windows Logo + D – This will enable the desktop even if you’re working on any window.

Windows Logo + M – To minimize all windows, use this shortcut.

Windows Logo + Shift + M – Counter to the previous shortcut, it will maximize all windows as earlier.

Windows Logo + E – Use this shortcut to call My Computer Folder.

Windows Logo + F – This will enable the search function for your file and folders.

Windows Logo + R – This will launch the Run dialog box, which will help you instantly find and launch any program on your computer.

Hold NUM LOCK for 5 seconds –Switch your computer’s Toggle Keys on or off by using this shortcut.

END – This will take you to the bottom part of an active window. It’s helpful while using web browser.

HOME – Counter to the END key, this will show you the top part of an active window.

NUM LOCK + * – This will provide you a list of subfolders in the selected folder.
